The Campbellton community garden was started by the Restigouche Community Inclusion Network with the goal in mind of bringing the community together and helping them learn and grow their own vegatables. The land was leased from the village nursing home
with the understanding that it would be used for educational purposes this was done and we were granted a 3 year lease longer to continue our garden growing to 41 raised beds in total with 25 new gardeners joing us. They started in 2013 with 15 raised
beds . This pilot project was a huge success the gardeners grew plenty of vegatables got to know one another and make new friends. 2014 being our first officail year and now moving into 2015 our second year we are growing and slowly expanding.
